College life at the University of Puget Sound

I started my college career on August 21, 2009 and now about 2 weeks in, I love it even more than the day I walked on campus. I love the atmosphere, the people, the scene and everything else. College was something I had been looking forward to since I knew what it was. I love my home and my parents however there was a part of me that just needed to get free and try my hand at life. The fun times of never having to tell anyone where you're going or getting told what to do like your 5. Life just is and now I decide what I will make it. No longer do I have an english class, or an American history class, but rather 2 science classes, a math class, and Mao's China. I love math and science much more, and I am kind of obsessed with China ever since I went there. Now as I am getting into the swing of things, the homework is piling on which plops on the stress. Never in my life have I done 5 hours of homework several nights a week, yet it is different- I am learning about what I want to learn. Still, there have been hard times; I question why I came here and how I ever left home and got myself into this but in the end, I am so happy I came to Washington. However as they say, this Puget Sound education is going to kick my ass! But that's a good thing. =)
